Saginaw Shooting Leaves Two Men Injured, Three Arrested

Michigan State Police are investigating a shooting that took place during a large gathering on Saginaw’s East Side, near Potter Street and North Roosevelt Austin Boulevard (Second Street). Two local men, ages 18 and 21, were wounded by gunfire and transported to nearby hospitals. Thankfully, both injuries are nonfatal.
🚔 Suspect Pursuit and Arrests
Troopers observed a vehicle fleeing the area and initiated a traffic stop near Third Street and Potter. The vehicle briefly stopped—troopers saw three occupants—but then sped off, leading police on a short chase.
The pursuit ended when the vehicle crashed through a fence at the GM Metal Castings Facility and became disabled in a nearby field. Two occupants fled on foot; troopers arrested the front passenger after a brief struggle. Police also recovered several spent and live rounds from the vehicle.
