That’s such a tragic loss for Joey Forker’s family and friends. Losing someone so young, and with such a close-knit family, is incredibly difficult. It sounds like Joey was deeply loved by his parents, siblings, and extended family. The funeral arrangements show how much he meant to those around him. My thoughts go out to his parents, his brothers, and everyone who loved him as they navigate this painful time. I hope they find some peace and comfort in the support of their community and each other.

A shooting spree like that leaves a lot of unanswered questions. Do we know if the shootings were connected, or if any suspects have been identified yet? With so many injured and one person dead, it must be a big focus for the authorities. Hopefully, they get the answers the community needs soon. How is the area reacting to this? It must be pretty unsettling for people living and working downtown.

It’s hard to even imagine how terrifying that must’ve been for everyone involved, especially with the violence erupting in a public space like that. The fact that there’s such a mix of ages and injuries makes it feel even more senseless. A young girl, people just enjoying a game—no one should ever have to experience something like that. It’s good that authorities are treating it seriously with both local and federal investigation teams involved, but it leaves a lot of questions about why this happened.

Hopefully, they’ll be able to get to the bottom of it and bring some clarity, but the trauma from that night will linger in the community for a long time. How are people around the area coping with it?
