  • Such a horrible tragedy.

    Such a horrible tragedy.

    Such a horrible tragedy.

Innocent children—at school, a place that should be safe—lost their lives to a senseless and selfish act. An individual, driven by darkness, took innocent lives and then cowardly ended his own.

Tears stream down my face as I think of the parents who now face the unimaginable—burying their child. There is no pain like the pain of losing a son or daughter. It’s a grief that has no words, no explanation, and no timeline.

My heart aches for every family devastated by this loss. For the school community, and for the first responders who now carry the weight of what they witnessed.

My heart and prayers go out to all of you.
May God bless and comfort you—now and always. 💔🙏

  • As I write this, tears are pouring down my face.

As I write this, tears are pouring down my face.

As I write this, tears are pouring down my face.

Just this morning, I held my 7-year-old son, Lucas, in my arms and began to pray.
I prayed over his school, over every child walking into a classroom today, and over schools around the world.

Now, I sit here broken. Shattered.
Grieving yet another senseless, tragic loss of innocent lives.

My heart aches for the parents whose arms are now empty.
For the children who will never come home.
For the classmates who will carry this trauma in their tiny hearts for years to come.

And yet… even as the tears fall, I feel a holy fire rising within me.
    A rage of gentleness.
    A refusal to back down.
A call to keep praying, keep covering, and keep speaking life over our children.

Because they deserve to live. To grow. To be safe.
And we will never stop fighting for that.

  • The reality of loss… it sucks.

The reality of loss… it sucks.

The reality of loss… it sucks.

It creeps up on you in the most unexpected moments—grocery stores, old photos, a familiar laugh in a crowd. And when the loss is tragic, like Anna’s, it feels unbearable. Some days, you just don’t want to acknowledge it… the truth that she’s really gone. It can’t be real. She can’t be gone.

But then grief hits again. And again. Like waves—relentless. Until eventually, you find your way back to that small, safe place where you can breathe again.

Grief is exhausting. It doesn’t follow a timeline. It doesn’t ask permission. And it never truly ends.

But we carry them with us—always.
