We are heartbroken by the sudden and tragic loss of such a talented Big V player, representative, and domestic basketball star. Kan was not only an exceptional athlete but also a cherished teammate, mentor, and friend.

Known for his gentle and kind spirit, Kan’s bright smile and warmth touched everyone around him. He brought joy and positivity into every room he entered and left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

His passing has deeply affected our community. Kan was a true role model and guiding light—one who inspired many on and off the court.

THANK YOU — from the bottom of our hearts.

To everyone who has contributed to this account: thank you. Your generosity means more than words can express.

No amount of money can bring back my brother and nephew, but your kindness has brought comfort in the midst of unimaginable pain. It’s helping to ease the financial burden and provide space for Naomi and Luke to begin the long journey of healing after losing their husband/dad and son/brother.

    Our family has been shattered.
My mom and dad have lost another child.
And I have lost my brother — my last sibling.

A Demand for Justice, Transparency, and Change

As a concerned Black citizen, I’m calling on our community to unite in this critical moment. The tragic loss of Rajon Belt‑Stubblefield, and far too many others, underscores the systemic failures in our justice system—and the real, devastating consequences our families endure.

Tonight’s vigil was a solemn and striking reminder: we come together in grief… but we must also demand accountability. Rajon was shot in front of his son—a trauma that no child should endure. His family now bears the weight of injustice.

To our community leaders, activists, clergy, candidates, and elected officials who stood with the family—thank you. Your presence showed you understand that mourning must fuel action.

I was honored to hold space with the family and our neighbors in prayer. But grief alone cannot demand policy change. The footage shared by citizens clearly shows unnecessary and lethal force used in a situation that could have been de-escalated with non-lethal alternatives. This isn’t just an outrage—it’s a betrayal of the badge we trust to protect us.

    Here’s what we demand:

    • Immediate release of all footage—citizen and police cameras

    • Firing of the officer involved, with no excuses and no delays

    • Enforcement of policies demanding officer accountability and ensuring non-lethal force is prioritized

To our elected officials and law enforcement leadership: silence from you is unacceptable. Action is demanded.

Racial injustice within policing is not someone else’s battle—it’s a political fight that begins with each of us holding leaders accountable, now.

We owe this to Rajon, his traumatized son, and every family impacted by this violence. We will stay organized. We will stay loud. We will not stop until real, tangible change is achieved.

September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month—a time for reflection, remembrance, and reaching out.

Five years ago, my family experienced the unimaginable loss of my brother, Gersito Reyes, to suicide. His passing left an indelible mark on our lives. Not a day goes by without feeling the weight of his absence—the quiet moments, the memories, the what-ifs. We continue to navigate life without him, carrying both love and grief in our hearts.

Gersito was deeply loved by his friends and cherished by our mother, my brother, and me. His presence lit up our world, and his memory will remain forever etched in our hearts. 🤍

I share this to encourage you:
Check in on your loved ones. Reach out. Ask how they’re really doing—and listen. Sometimes the ones who seem the strongest are carrying the heaviest burdens.

    Your life matters.
    Your well-being matters.
You are needed. You are loved. You deserve a long, fulfilling life.

Let’s honor those we’ve lost by being present for those still here.
And today, we remember Gersito Reyes—forever loved, never forgotten. 🕊️

  • Your words are absolutely heartbreaking, raw, and deeply powerful. You’ve expressed something that so many people feel but struggle to put into words. This post honors Nevaeh with truth, vulnerability, and the kind of love only a parent can give.

Your words are absolutely heartbreaking, raw, and deeply powerful. You’ve expressed something that so many people feel but struggle to put into words. This post honors Nevaeh with truth, vulnerability, and the kind of love only a parent can give.

If you’re open to it, here’s a gentle, slightly refined version that preserves every emotion and detail, while making it easier for others to read and take in the message:

At 5:30 p.m., a year ago today, I was in the kitchen making dinner.
Nevaeh stood nearby, talking to me about her future—she was excited about chorus, her upcoming 8th-grade trip, and all the things she was looking forward to. She seemed happy.

    At 5:47 p.m., I made the 911 call.
Josiah had found Nevaeh in her room. I ran to her and immediately started CPR. I did everything I could until the paramedics arrived. But 17 minutes… that’s all it took for her to leave me.

One minute she was dreaming out loud. The next, she was gone.
I will never understand. It happened so fast. There were no signs. She was in good spirits—laughing, planning, being her beautiful self. I don’t know if I will ever be able to fully accept this reality.

Now, I visit my daughter at her grave.
I don’t get to hold her. I don’t get to hear her laugh. I don’t get to see her grow up.

What I’m left with is a lifetime of unanswered questions, and a pain that never goes away.

    🕊️ Please—keep your children close.
Don’t assume that just because they seem okay, that they are okay.
Ask the hard questions. Sit them down. Give them your full attention. Make it safe for them to open up.

    #JusticeForNevaeh
You are forever loved. Forever missed. 💔

What We Know (and What We Don’t)

What We Know (and What We Don’t)

    1. No Official Reports of a Fatal Accident

Multiple reputable fact-checking sources confirm that there’s no verified news of China Anne McClain being in a car accident or passing away. A recent article on Primetimer highlights how death rumors are spreading online—but remain unconfirmed and likely false:

“A report by USA News on August 31, 2025, stated that the actress had allegedly lost her life in a car accident. … the news … is seemingly not true, as no other outlet has reported the same. Furthermore, Anne McClain’s family members have also not announced anything from their side” primetimer.com.

    2. She Has Addressed and Debunked Rumors in the Past

This isn’t the first time China’s been targeted by false “RIP” rumors. In past instances, she directly reassured fans that she was alive and well. For instance, in June 2024:

“She joins the long list of celebrities who have been victimized by this hoax. She’s still alive and well, stop believing what you see on the Internet,” her representatives said. belmontfilmhouse.comDWB Films.

    Conclusion

There is no credible evidence supporting the claim that China Anne McClain was in a fatal car accident. The rumors appear to be baseless—possibly clickbait or disinformation. It’s always best to rely on established news outlets and official statements before drawing conclusions about serious matters like this.
