Paraparaumu, NZ – It’s hard to put into words what I’m feeling right now. Merrick Stein—Mr. Stein—was so much more than a teacher. He was one of my greatest confidants, my gossip buddy, and a steady presence during a time in life that felt anything but stable.

For many of us, college was full of change, uncertainty, and struggles—especially around friendships and mental health. Through it all, Mr. Stein was there. Listening. Guiding. Showing up in ways that truly mattered.

His impact goes far beyond the classroom. I’ll never forget him. 💔
