With Heavy Hearts, We Pray
We come to You, Lord, with heavy hearts, grieving an unimaginable and tragic loss.
Our souls ache from the sorrow of a young life taken far too soon.
Though we may never understand why such a precious life was cut short,
we trust in Your perfect wisdom and unfailing love.
Lord, we pray for comfort that surpasses all understanding
—for every family member, every friend, every heart shattered by this grief.
Wrap Your loving arms around each one, hold them gently,
and be their refuge in the storm.
Give us the grace to face each day, even when it feels impossible.
Help us find peace in the knowledge of Your presence.
We lift up our beloved child into Your eternal, loving arms,
trusting that she is now safe with You, held in everlasting love.
May every shared laugh, every cherished memory,
become a light in our darkness and a comfort in our sorrow—
a reminder of the joy she brought into this world.
Strengthen our hearts, renew our faith,
and help us endure life without her.
Bind us together in love until the day we are reunited
in Your glorious kingdom.
Bless this love—a love that will never be forgotten—
a love that will reign in our hearts forever.
