Officials say the Oklahoma City Police Department’s Crimes Against Children unit responded to a welfare call at the family’s home in the 1500 block of Northeast 26th Street. KOCO When they entered, they found Locklynn deceased, with significant bite wounds. KOCO
Court documents reportedly reveal a chilling detail: Locklynn had been locked in a room with the dog that attacked her, and her bedroom door was secured with a double-sided toddler lock — preventing her from getting out. KOCO+1
Even more tragically, this was not the first incident. According to the arrest affidavit, Locklynn had been attacked by the same dog earlier in November, suffering an injury so severe her ear was partially severed.
