The community of Milwaukee is mourning the heartbreaking loss of 3-year-old Da’Quarius Berry, who passed away on Thursday morning, November 6, 2025. Da’Quarius was found unresponsive near 29th and Auer and was rushed to Children’s Wisconsin, where he sadly could not be saved.

The Milwaukee Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death, which has been preliminarily classified as a homicide by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner. The loss of such a young life is profoundly tragic, and our hearts go out to Da’Quarius’ family during this incredibly difficult time.
