That’s absolutely heartbreaking and disturbing. Abandoning an animal in such a cruel way, and then running it over, is a tragic act of abuse. It’s good that there was footage to help identify the person responsible, though it doesn’t make the situation any easier to digest.
Animal cruelty like this often leaves a lasting impact on the community, and I’m sure many are both angry and saddened by what happened.
