Life has taken a tragic turn for our family. After back-to-back medical emergencies, we’re struggling just to survive — and we need your help.

On July 6, Curtis, the sole provider for our family, suffered a stroke that left him blind in one eye, making it impossible for him to continue working as a commercial driver. Shortly after, in a tragic accident while defending our livestock, he accidentally discharged an 8mm Mauser rifle and lost his leg.

Thanks to the Webster Sheriff’s Department, air-life rescue, and the dedicated teams at Ochsner and Minden Medical, Curtis is alive and beginning the long road to recovery. But without income, we are in serious crisis.

💔 He cannot work. I am disabled. There is no unemployment or workers’ comp. We are simply trying to survive.
