• Date & Location: The crash happened around 7:00 p.m. on October 8, 2025, in the 2700 block of Rosehill Road near Walstone Road in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

• Victims:

  • Jai’Hyon Lamont Elliot (18)

  • Trevor Merritt (17)

  • Nicholas Kole Williams (17)
    All three were E.E. Smith High School students and members of the football team. They were reportedly on their way to a birthday celebration for one of their brothers when the crash occurred.

🚗 Suspects: Sisters Dymond Monroe and Destini Genwright

• Dymond Nekiya Monroe (21) — driver of a 2024 Honda Civic that crashed into a tree.

  • Status: Airlifted to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill with serious injuries.

  • Charges:

    • 3 counts of involuntary manslaughter

    • Willful speed competition (street racing)

    • Speeding

    • Careless and reckless driving

    • Insurance violation

• Destini Rhinada Genwright (19) — Monroe’s sister, driving another vehicle that was allegedly racing alongside Monroe’s car.
