Monticello, KY – According to Wayne County Sheriff Tim Catron, a fatal single-vehicle crash occurred just before 4:30 p.m. on KY 1275. The victim, identified as Rice, was driving when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree stump, and rolled multiple times. Rice was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
