Background and Service
Officer Rose, 33, joined the DeKalb County Police Department in September 2024 and graduated from the police academy in March 2025. Prior to his service with the department, he honorably served four years in the United States Marine Corps, including a deployment to Afghanistan. He was assigned to the North Central Precinct and quickly earned the respect of his colleagues for his dedication, courage, and professionalism .
