North Carolina – The North Carolina community and beyond are mourning the tragic and untimely loss of TJ Costello, a beloved husband, father, Marine, and former Navy football standout.
TJ was a man of remarkable character — defined by his unwavering dedication to his country, his team, and most of all, his family. He served with honor and courage as a United States Marine, and his time as a standout on the Navy football team reflected his strength, discipline, and leadership both on and off the field.
Those who knew TJ remember his fierce loyalty, his kind heart, and the way he inspired others simply by being himself. His loss is not only felt within his family and among friends but also across the broader military and athletic communities who admired and respected him.
We extend our deepest condolences to TJ’s family, friends, and all who are grieving this tremendous loss. May his legacy of service, love, and strength continue to live on through those he touched.
