In Loving Memory of Ginger D. Stephens

In Loving Memory of Ginger D. Stephens

It is with a heavy heart that I share the heartbreaking news of the passing of one of my long-time, very dear friends—Ginger Stephens. Many of you who have worked at the Army Missile Command over the years may remember this precious lady.

Ginger and I have shared a friendship of over 30 years, and I am truly heartbroken. I wanted to share her obituary and funeral information for anyone who might wish to honor her memory or keep her family in their prayers. 💜✝💜 🙏🙏🙏

Obituary
Ginger D. Stephens, 68, of Huntsville, AL, passed away on August 25, 2025. She was born on April 17, 1957, in Birmingham, AL, to William H. and Bertie Mae Hare Stephens.

Ginger was the epitome of a Southern woman—graceful, beautiful, and brilliant. She excelled in school and work, embarking on a distinguished 35-year career as a US Government Public Affairs and Legislative Liaison professional. Her internal strength was evident to all who knew her, and she poured incredible effort into everything she did—from thoughtfully selecting and beautifully wrapping gifts to creating gourmet meals in her kitchen.

She was generous, dedicated, and deeply loving. The brightest spot in her life was being a mother to her two boys, who were her greatest accomplishment. Ginger was a wonderful hostess and an even better friend. In her later years, she devoted herself to caring for her aging parents. She will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Ginger is survived by her sons, Walker Snyder (married to Mandy Snyder) and Hunter Snyder (married to Paige Snyder); her grandchildren, Raylon, Myla Mae, Sophia, and Camille; her brother, William D. Stephens (married to Christina J. Stephens); and her niece and nephew, Lily Parker Stephens and William Colter Stephens. She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Bertie Mae Hare Stephens.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, followed by a funeral service at noon on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home
