In Loving Memory of Faydelle Schott (1927–2024)
The Saddlebred, Hackney, and Arabian horse communities come together to honor and remember Faydelle Schott, a beloved longtime owner and exhibitor from Akron, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 97.

Faydelle was known for her spunk, spirit, and deep love for animals, and she held a special place in the hearts of many within the horse show family. Her passion and dedication to the sport were unmistakable, and her presence brought joy and energy to every event she attended.

Though she retired from the show ring in 2014—with her final appearance at the All American Classic—her legacy continued through her beloved ponies, who remained active in competition up until this year.

A formal obituary and additional details will be shared soon.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to all who knew and loved Faydelle. Her legacy, both in and out of the ring, will not be forgotten.
