I am deeply sorry to inform you that Dr. Tapan A. Padhya, a distinguished otolaryngologist and cherished member of the Tampa, Florida medical community, has passed away. His sudden departure has left an indelible mark on the field of medicine and the lives of those he touched.

Dr. Padhya served as the Professor and Chair of the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine. He was also the Chief of the Ear, Nose & Throat Institute at Tampa General Hospital .
