Community Mourns the Loss of Dr. Musaddiq Nazeeri Following Tragic Plane Crash

The community is mourning the tragic loss of Dr. Musaddiq Nazeeri, 58, of Lebanon, who passed away on the morning of Sunday, July 20, 2025, following a plane crash shortly after takeoff from Lancaster Airport.

According to the Lancaster County Coroner’s Office, the crash occurred at approximately 8:15 a.m. in a cornfield near Stauffer Road in Warwick Township, just minutes after Dr. Nazeeri’s aircraft left the runway. He was the sole occupant of the plane.

Emergency responders arrived swiftly at the scene, but Dr. Nazeeri was pronounced dead at the site. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).

Dr. Nazeeri, a respected physician and beloved member of the Lebanon community, is remembered for his compassion, dedication to patient care, and tireless service to public health. Friends and colleagues describe him as a deeply principled man whose presence made a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.

He is survived by his family, friends, colleagues, and the many patients whose lives he touched throughout his career. Plans for a memorial service will be announced in the coming days.
