CHICAGO, IL — A Horrific Act of Violence Claims Life of 36-Year-Old Antoinette Congo in Englewood

A tragic and senseless act of violence took the life of 36-year-old Antoinette Congo in the early morning hours of September 11, 2025, in Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood.

According to authorities, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area and found Congo critically injured. Despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is now under active investigation by the Chicago Police Department, and no arrests have been announced at this time.
