It is with a heavy heart that I bring news of the passing of Bro. George Timothy Hughey, a valued member of Berkley Lodge. He departed this life on August 23, 2025, just one day shy of his 74th birthday.

Bro. Hughey’s life was marked by his unwavering commitment to service—both to his country and to his community. He was a proud veteran and a dedicated member of our Masonic family. His legacy is one of integrity, kindness, and steadfast brotherhood.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Graham Funeral Home, located at 1112 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake, VA 23320. Visitation will follow from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service is scheduled for Friday, September 12, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Albert G.
