At approximately 7:47 a.m., Muskego police attempted to stop a vehicle near the Kwik Trip gas station on Janesville Road. The vehicle was connected to a recent homicide investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department. The driver, later identified as 38-year-old Jeremy Lockett from Milwaukee, fled westbound on Janesville Road at high speed. The pursuit concluded when Lockett’s vehicle collided with two other cars near Martin Drive.

Injuries and Arrest

In the crash:

  • A 51-year-old woman from Menomonee Falls sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital.

  • A 58-year-old woman from Hales Corners suffered minor injuries but did not require hospitalization.

  • Lockett, who fled on foot after the crash, was apprehended nearby. He was also injured and taken to the hospital.

Police recovered two firearms from the vehicle and confirmed that Lockett had a felony warrant for parole violations. He faces multiple felony charges, including fleeing police, hit-and-run, recklessly endangering safety, and possession of a firearm by a felon. A cash bond of $150,000 was set, and he is scheduled to appear in court on October 28. CBS58

Investigation and Legal Proceedings

The Wisconsin State Patrol is conducting a crash reconstruction at the request of the Muskego Police Department. Once the investigation is complete, the case file will be submitted to the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office for review and potential prosecution. CBS58
