A 27-year-old woman, Monica Perani, tragically died in a head-on collision on State Route 682 in Athens County. The crash occurred when a pickup truck, driven by 69-year-old Paul Richard Biehl of Athens, reportedly crossed the center line and struck her vehicle. Despite emergency responders arriving quickly, Monica was pronounced dead at the scene by the Athens County Coroner’s Office.
