Lord, I trust You — but this one is heavy. Our hearts are shattered as we mourn the unimaginable loss of four beautiful souls taken far too soon: our beloved best friend Krishaun McKellar, her husband and my cousin Zabar McKellar, their precious son, and Zabar’s father. A tragic accident, caused by an 18-wheeler driver who fell asleep at the wheel, changed our lives forever in a moment.

There are no words strong enough to capture the grief we feel. Krishaun’s light, Zabar’s strength, their child’s laughter, and the wisdom of Zabar’s father — all gone in an instant. This kind of pain is paralyzing. But even now, in the storm, I hold on to the truth: God, You make no mistakes. Still… we are hurting.

Please lift up your prayers for their daughter Evan, who is fighting for her life. She’s strong, just like her parents, and we believe in her. Keep fighting, Evan — we’ve got you. We’re not letting go.

To our family, friends, and community: hug your loved ones. Tell them you love them. Life is fragile, and none of us are promised tomorrow.
