With profound sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Noah Snyder, a cherished member of the Haudenosaunee Nationals U20 Men’s team.

Noah, along with his Marquette University teammate Scott Michaud, tragically sustained fatal injuries in an automobile accident near campus last evening. This is a devastating loss—one that no words can truly prepare us for.

Noah exemplified commitment to his sport, unwavering responsibility to his teammates, and deep reverence for his Haudenosaunee heritage. He carried the spirit and values of our people with dignity and pride, both on and off the field.

Though his time with us was far too short, Noah’s legacy lives on — in the memories he created, the lives he touched, and the love he shared with his community. His strength, spirit, and joy will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

We pray that Noah’s journey continues in peace, embraced by the ancestors. May his family and friends find comfort in the support, unity, and love of our community during this time of immense grief.

The Haudenosaunee Nationals extend our deepest condolences to the families, teammates, and loved ones of both Noah and Scott. Our hearts are with all those affected by this unimaginable tragedy.
