In Memoriam: Noah Snyder
Haudenosaunee Nationals U20 Men’s Team

We are heartbroken to share the tragic passing of Noah Snyder, a beloved member of the Haudenosaunee Nationals U20 Men’s team.

Noah, along with his Marquette University teammate Scott Michaud, sustained fatal injuries in an automobile accident near campus last evening. This profound loss is one no community is ever truly prepared to face.

Noah exemplified the values we hold dear—dedication to his sport, a strong sense of responsibility to his team, and unwavering respect for his Haudenosaunee heritage. He carried our traditions with grace, pride, and dignity both on and off the field.

Though Noah’s time with us was far too brief, his legacy will live on through the memories, stories, and love shared by his family, friends, teammates, and the wider lacrosse and Haudenosaunee communities. We will remember his accomplishments, his vibrant spirit, and the joy he brought to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

May his journey continue in peace, embraced by the ancestors, and may his family and loved ones find comfort in the strength and unity of our community.

We extend our deepest condolences to all those affected by this devastating loss, and we stand in solidarity as we mourn the lives of these two young men.
