Hey everyone,

I honestly wasn’t planning on making these posts anymore — but after so many of you asked me to keep going, I’m still here, still sharing, still keeping Miranda’s memory alive. Thank you for your support, and for helping me honor her.

Parents aren’t supposed to bury their children. That’s not how it’s supposed to work.
But sadly, too many of us have been forced to do just that.

Miranda was a healthy, vibrant 16-year-old girl with her whole life ahead of her.
One person — one reckless choice — took her from us. Miranda didn’t ask to die, and certainly not in such a tragic, senseless way. She had dreams. She had a future. And she should still be here.

In honor of Miranda, I’m asking you from the bottom of my heart:
Please, DON’T drink and drive.
If the thought ever crosses your mind, think of her. Think of the families who’ve lost everything in a moment. Be safe. Be smart. Choose life — yours and someone else’s.
