In Loving Memory of Deegan Kirschke

With profound sorrow, the Hampshire community and Hampshire High School mourn the tragic and untimely loss of Deegan Kirschke, a 17-year-old senior and dedicated member of the high school wrestling team, who was fatally shot on Saturday, August 16, 2025, inside a home in the 100 block of High Street.
Deegan was known for his determination on the mat, his strong sense of camaraderie, and his bright future. He was a beloved teammate, student, and friend—someone who brought heart and hustle to everything he did.
The tragic circumstances of his passing have left the community in shock and grief. As authorities continue their investigation, loved ones gather to honor Deegan’s life, remember his spirit, and support one another through this unimaginable loss.
