On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, around 11:00 p.m., Bingham County deputies were summoned due to an alleged attempted theft of a 4‑wheeler near 1100 East and 1300 North, just east of Shelley. The property owner reported shots fired—both the homeowner and the suspect sustained injuries; the suspect then fled the scene.KBOI
