  • What happened: On the night of Sunday, August 17, 2025, police responded to a series of 911 hang-up calls from a home near 700 N and 200 E in Tremonton. Upon arrival, a male suspect opened fire on the responding officers. Two Tremonton–Garland Police officers were fatally shot.
