It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of Joe Crosse, who died on 24th July 2025 following a tragic accident.
Joe was a devoted husband and father, a cherished friend to many, and a proud member of the Ennistymon Fire Brigade. He dedicated his life to serving others—bravely protecting his community on the front lines and selflessly supporting those in need. Known for his unwavering courage and boundless compassion, Joe embodied the true spirit of service.
Beyond his duties as a firefighter, Joe was a tireless advocate for local causes. He was especially known for his charity fundraising efforts, running countless marathons to raise funds and awareness for those in need. His kindness, humour, and drive left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Joe leaves behind a powerful legacy—of bravery, generosity, and love—that will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and the wider community he so passionately served.
