In Loving Memory of Sinay Lopez
With heavy hearts, we mourn the tragic and untimely passing of Sinay Lopez, 27—a beloved mother, daughter, and friend. Sinay lost her life on Thursday, July 18, 2025, in west Wichita, Kansas, in a heartbreaking domestic violence incident.
Despite facing a language barrier that complicated communication, Sinay courageously was the first to call 911 that afternoon, reaching out for help during a moment of fear and danger. Her bravery in seeking protection for herself and those around her shines as a powerful testament to her strength and love.
Sinay’s loss is deeply felt by her family, friends, and the community. We honor her memory and stand in solidarity with all those affected by domestic violence.
