East Lake Park Shooting (July 16, 2025)

• Victim: Cameron Demijah Little, 23, of Birmingham

• Incident: A group gathered at East Lake Park (100 block of 84th St. N.) around 11:30 p.m. when approximately 10 shots rang out Wikimedia Commons+7https://www.wbrc.com+7https://www.wbrc.com+7.

• Outcome: Little was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene. A second person was injured, but their condition is non-life-threatening .

• Investigation: Witnesses are being interviewed, but authorities have yet to determine motive or identify suspects .

🔹 Ensley Shooting (July 17, 2025)

• Just hours later, another victim was found in the Ensley community. Birmingham police and the Jefferson County Coroner are investigating this second fatality.

• The coroner has now identified the victim as Corey Lavel Tremble, 38, also a Birmingham resident.

🧭 Current Updates & Investigations

• Police Status: No arrests have been reported in either case.
