We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Cedric Jones, a devoted Oakland County Road Commission worker and father of six, who was killed while performing roadway duties on Orchard Lake Road.
According to authorities, 59-year-old Kimberly Taylor was driving the wrong way when she crossed the median and struck Cedric and two of his coworkers.
Our hearts are with Cedric’s family, especially his six children, his colleagues, and all who have been affected by this heartbreaking incident. We extend our deepest condolences and stand with the community as we mourn his loss.
