The Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office has released the name of a woman fatally shot in Shreveport’s Claiborne neighborhood on Sunday, November 2, 2025, marking the 32nd confirmed homicide in the city this year.
Aundreya Griffin Anderson, 25, was shot while in a vehicle with an acquaintance traveling westbound near the intersection of Claiborne Avenue and Queens Highway around 4:15 p.m. She was transported to Ochsner LSU Health Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased at 4:59 p.m.
Ms. Anderson was positively identified through fingerprint comparison. Including additional homicides in the parish outside Shreveport, the total number of confirmed homicides in Caddo Parish so far in 2025 stands at 37.
The Shreveport Police Department is actively investigating the incident, and an autopsy has been ordered. Members of the public with information regarding this case are encouraged to contact the department to assist in the investigation.
