On Monday, November 3rd, around 3:00 PM, my 22-year-old niece, Tiyana, was tragically taken from us in a head-on car accident—just two minutes from home, on her way to pick up family from school.

Hello, my name is Lexy, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my niece, my great-niece, and our family after an unimaginable tragedy.

On Monday, November 3rd, around 3:00 PM, my 22-year-old niece, Tiyana, was tragically taken from us in a head-on car accident—just two minutes from home, on her way to pick up family from school.

The country road was narrow, hilly, and full of blind spots. There were no center lines, and the drivers simply didn’t see one another until it was too late.

We’re now facing the heartbreaking task of laying Tiyana—our beloved “Chocolate Drop”—to rest, while caring for her 2-year-old daughter, who has lost her mother far too soon. 💔

Tiyana was a beautiful, vibrant, loving young woman whose world revolved around her baby girl. She had so much life ahead of her, and our family is devastated beyond words.

This loss has been especially painful for my brother—Tiyana’s father. He lost her mother when Tiyana was only 3 years old, and just a few years ago, he also lost his mother and grandmother within six weeks of each other. Now, he faces yet another unimaginable loss while stepping into the role of full-time caregiver for his granddaughter.

To make things even harder, my brother was scheduled to move the very day of the accident, adding financial strain to emotional heartbreak. Every day, he must pass the scene of the crash on his way home. He’s never been one to ask for help, but I want to do everything I can to ease his burden.

We’re reaching out to friends, family, and our community for help, prayers, and support as we navigate this devastating time.
