The loss of life is always a tragedy. When that loss is a child or young person, it is one of the greatest heartbreaks any of us can experience. We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ta’Marious Murphy-Ellerbee, a 9th-grade student at Scotland High School. Ta’Marious’s passing is felt deeply throughout our district and school community. He will be remembered fondly by those who knew him for his spirit, potential, and the light he brought to those around him.
