26-Year-Old Tyrese Clark Identified as Victim in Fatal Lancaster Shooting

LANCASTER, Calif. — Authorities have identified the man who was fatally shot in Lancaster last Friday as 26-year-old Tyrese Clark, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office. The shooting occurred around 8:05 p.m. on July 18 in the 44300 block of Cedar Avenue.

Deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Clark at the scene suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics arrived and provided medical aid, but Clark was pronounced dead shortly after.

As of Thursday, no arrests have been made, and a motive for the shooting remains under investigation. Authorities have not released any information about potential suspects.

The LASD Homicide Bureau is urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant information to come forward.

“This was a tragic loss of life,” a department spokesperson said. “We are asking the community to help us bring justice to Tyrese’s family.”
